Explotación sexual infantil en Costa Rica Presentación para el Examen Periódico Universal de la situación de los derechos humanos en Costa Rica

La presente presentación es una actualización para examinar los progresos realizados por el Gobierno de Costa Rica para poner fin a la ESC y evaluar el nivel de aplicación de las recomendaciones del EPU sobre los derechos del niño formuladas en 2014. Se harán recomendaciones específicas para poner fin a la ESC en Costa Rica. El contenido de esta presentación se basa en la investigación de ECPAT International y la Fundación Paniamor para el período 2014-2018. Su alcance se limita a la SEC y sus diferentes manifestaciones, incluyendo la explotación de niños en la prostitución, explotación sexual infantil en línea (OCSE), materiales de abuso sexual infantil (CSAM), trata de niños con fines sexuales, explotación sexual infantil en el contexto de viajes y turismo (SECTT) y el matrimonio infantil, precoz y forzado (CEFM).

This presentation is an update to review the progress made by the Government of Costa Rica to improve of Costa Rica to end CSEC and assess the level of implementation of the UPR recommendations on the rights of the child made in 2014. Its scope is limited to CSE and its different manifestations, including exploitation of children in prostitution, online child sexual exploitation (OCSE), child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), child trafficking for sexual purposes, child sexual exploitation in the context of travel and tourism (SECTT) and child, early and forced marriage (CEFM).
